Day 20 of Magic: Fun Apple Stamping Craft
A Halloween twist to a classic activity!
Welcome to Day 20 of our Month of Magic, from Primary.
Today we're sharing a classic autumn craft with a Halloween twist. Inspired by our crafty friends at Made to be a Mama, you can transform leftover apples and oranges into tools for art stamping. With just some paint, pipe cleaners, and googly eyes, they can make pumpkins! Here's how it's done:
- Step 1: Cut your apple down in half.
- Step 2: Using a small paintbrush, dab some orange paint on one half of your apple. Carefully press down on the paper and touch up any unpainted parts with your brush.
- Step 3: While the paint is drying, cut your brown pipe cleaners into small stem sizes and twist your green pipe cleaners around a pencil to create a curly leaf.
- Step 4: Glue on your stem and curly leaf and add your googly eyes.
Then ta-da! The cutest pumpkins are made (click here for the full instructions!). Don't forget to let us know if you try this activity by tagging us on Facebook and Instagram! It's a whole Month of Magic – keep up with all the daily activities here.
